I summarized page fifteen of the book
Fishing Is Fun
by Arthur H. Carhart. The page gave brief information about the changes
in the weather and how fish switch locations in the rivers.
The first book- on page 15 Aurther Carhart explains to
us the seasonal changes in the weather that affect where the fish stay in the
river. When the weather gets colder outside one has to know how to fish in order
to get what he wants. For example the walleyes stay closer to the bottom of the
river. The reason why some fish stay at the bottom of the river is because they
are feeding on smaller fish and to start getting used the cold season.
Regardless of how talented a fisherman can handle his rod, he must know where
the fish are dwelling and what to use to catch them. Before the weather changes
its much easier to catch the fish because of the heat. For example when it’s
warmer out one is more successful at catching bass after the heat of the day has
passed.
The second Book I choose. The Fishes by Url
Lanham.
In this book the author explains to us
the different originations of the many different kinds of fish and the
characteristics that we can expect to find in these types of fishes. The author
also takes us back to the history of the fishes and some sharks as well. Telling
us who they mated with and how they developed. The author takes a step further
to inform us about the reproduction of the fish. Reproductions vary widely. Some
fish for example distribute their eggs and they are combined with others sperms
and some of the fish live and most die however there are others that take very
good care of their fish. This also maybe why some stay at the surface of the sea
when the weather is hot and or warm but they stay very deep in the water when
the cold weather arrives. Being that the little one get eaten by the big fish at
the bottom.
My online source- Fishing the changes
of Season by Bob McNally tells us that depending on the weather in the fall the
mornings are always good for fishing. When the water is clear and this makes it
easier for one to spot the fishes and to decide where to camp for fishing.
